Fighting For And Against Entropy In The Kitchen
Fighting For Entropy:
As time goes on, I’ve begun to be more organized. I’ve got mason jars of grains and rices, labelled containers of baking goods and my cupboards are even sectioned. But it’s taken some work, and it still needs more. On top of this, we’ve begun making weekly kitchen menus that allow us to save time and money shopping, as well as provide ourselves with healthier options for both meals and snacking.
Fighting Against Entropy:
Too much organization is boring. Too many recipes get boring. This is where chaotic cookings comes into play. I love throwing spices and ingredients. I love digging under a disorganized mess of bags of bulk goods. This is where new food creativity springs…from the deep wells of chaos in our cupboards.
